His recent work began with a new idea: what if Handshake matched its 25M-person network with AI labs to improve their models? AI was reaching the limit of what it could learn from the open internet. To keep improving, it needed real experts to teach it.

That meant building a platform to find experts, evaluate their knowledge, train them to teach AI, run lessons, deliver the work to labs, and pay people for their time. All from scratch. A year later: partnerships with 8 of the best AI labs in the world, a team of 10+ designers, and $1B in revenue.
